Our Commitment to Every Puppy

At Thistlerun Gundogs, we are completely dedicated to giving every puppy the very best start in life. Our puppies are bred from carefully selected, health-tested parents, ensuring strong genetics and excellent temperaments.

From six weeks of age, we begin our structured puppy development and training programme. During this time, each puppy learns to sleep, eat, and grow in a safe, comfortable environment. We introduce crate training early on to create a secure space for the puppies while helping establish positive routines for sleeping, toilet training, and feeding as their mother gradually transitions the care over to us.

By the time our puppies reach 10 weeks of age, they are fully prepared to begin life with their new families. Each puppy leaves us:

Fully vaccinated

Microchipped

Kennel Club registered

Wormed and flea treated

Well-socialised and confident

We also provide ongoing support and advice until your puppy reaches 12 months of age, ensuring you and your new companion have the guidance needed for a happy and successful start together.

Joining the Thistlerun Family

If you would like to be considered for one of our puppies and join the Thistlerun waiting list, a £500 deposit is required to secure your place and reserve a puppy from an upcoming litter.

Extended Puppy Boarding & Training

We understand that sometimes new owners may have holidays booked or may wish for us to continue their puppy’s early training for a little longer.

For this reason, we offer extended puppy boarding and training from 10 weeks of age.

This service is available if your puppy is not collected when ready to leave.
